I’m happy to announce that my new CD will be released the beginning of November!!!

For this new CD project, I’ve teamed up with Sievert Ahrend (a long time friend and colleague), to do a Duo CD.
Sievert and I have been working together for approximately 12 years. We’ve spent a lot of time on the road
and on the stage together. We’ve written quite a few songs together, as well, and Sievert has also
played on several of my other CDs.

About 3 years ago, on one of our many road trips, we somehow starting throwing around the idea of a duo CD project.

Earlier this year we started getting serious about it, so I drove up to Sievert’s and over a bottle or 2 of Red wine,
we started hashing out some new songs. This past summer, between gigs, family and kindergarten (not to mention sailing
and fishing), we booked some time in the studio. We managed to lay down 10 new and 3 refreshed songs for the project.

This new project is titled “Island Paradise” and is a mixture of Country, Blues/rock and Bluegrass
(done all acoustic, of course). With the summer flair that is on this CD, we should probably wait
until next spring to release it, but we’re just too excited about it!! We hope you don’t mind if
we release it now.

We’re releasing it through Avance Records; it should be available, at the very latest, by the middle of
November through CD Baby (www.cdbaby.com) as well as over the Choo-Choo Seven Shop (www.choo-choo-seven.com/shop).
Downloads (MP3) should be available early next year. If you really want to buy it as MP3, then you can contact me
directly and we will work something out.
